Who owns MediMatrix?

WebInterstate is the sole owner and holder of all copyrights to MediMatrix and our Application Framework Library (development library). The copyrights are on file with the US governments Register of Copyrights and have been made part of the Copyright Office records.

Are you owned by a mobile x-ray business? Or, do you own a mobile x-ray business?

No, we have many clients in the mobile medical industry. WebInterstate is a privately-owned technology services company. Read more in the about us section.

How does it work?

Our services work similar to online banking. You simply login to a secure web site to access your information. There is no disk to install, just open a web-browser on any computer.

What is an "Application Service Provider (ASP)", "On-Demand Software", or "Hosted Solution"?

A business that provides computer-based service to customers of a network. More specifically, WebInterstate builds web-based software that can be securely accessed from any computer connected to the Internet. What does MediMatrix include?

MediMatrix has too many features to list here. Basically, we include modules for ordering, scheduling, faxing, medical records, facility billing, insurance and medicare billing, report viewing, image viewing, radiology viewing, transcription, etc...

How much do you charge for MediMatrix?

A nominal commitment fee to get started along with a monthly usage fee. Our monthly usage fee is based on patient encounters (ie. studies/exams) per month. And our rate schedule is tiered: the more patients, the less per patient you will pay. Reduced pricing is available if you do not need the billing modules.

How does your price compare against other products?

We are unique in the mobile medical industry because most products are not integrated into 1 package. For example, there are billing packages, but they don't contain medical records (and vice-versa). Believe us when we say we are much less expensive than trying to integrate software packages or hiring programmers to build a customized solution. Also, our service allows you to bring billing in-house so you don't have to pay percentages of your revenue to a billing service.

How much do you charge for other ASP applications?

In the ASP model, a setup fee is typically charged along with a nominal monthly fee. The monthly fee is usually based on the number of transactions, which makes it a win-win situation for both of us (our revenue grows when your revenue grows), and means you can get started with minimal risk. We become your IT and development staff which can save your company money on software, hardware, and personnel. On products such as MediMatrix, we perform regular updates based on feeback we receive from our clients that are included in the monthly fee.

Can my company save money using the ASP model?

Typically, companies will experience immediate cost savings in because it will free up time for IT staff and transcription. Because information is flowing directly to your clients, office personnel can focus other responsibilities. If your company is currently developing or maintaining an in-house application, you will see immediate savings in IT personnel, hardware costs, and software costs.

How long does it take to get MediMatrix running?

In 2-4 weeks we can have the application running for your company and ready for orders.

How long does it take to build a custom solution for our radiology department?

Customizing an application is like building a house. We first create a blueprint, or design document, that outlines the features and components. Based on the design, we develop a schedule and project plan. Because we have pre-built many of the components, your application can be developed in a timely manner.
